January is National Mentoring Month

NPJS Survey The National Mentoring Partnership, Global Youth Justice, and the National Partnership for Juvenile Services are conducting a survey to improve the design and delivery of mentoring services for high-risk youth currently and/or formally involved with the juvenile justice system. Results will be included in a research report and in training and technical assistance materials, which will be free and available on-line.

Tell Congress: Protect Children in the Justice System Deep federal funding cuts to state and local juvenile justice and delinquency prevention efforts will hurt kids, and families, and jeopardize public safety. Cuts of this magnitude will result in more children in dangerous, costly lock-ups, greatly increasing risks of suicide, sexual and physical abuse, and disconnection from family, positive support, education and the workforce.
