For Direct Care Staff

Direct Care Staff

The National Partnership for Juvenile Services (NPJS) has an archive of resources to support the professional development of direct care staff in juvenile services settings.

We hope you find the resources beneficial to your training efforts. Requests for specific training materials can be directed to the NPJS office at Michael.Jones@npjs.org.

We strongly encourage you to supplement your training efforts by providing the following resource as recommended reading: Desktop Guide to Quality Practice for Working with Youth in Confinement

For entry level direct care staff to veteran leaders, the Desktop Guide is an important resource for any juvenile justice professional working in a secure care setting.
