Goal:  Improve youth access to resources and therapeutic tools that enhance the youth’s long-term success using technology.

 

Forum Overview:  Educational programs within correctional settings have begun to utilize devices to connect with external support services, (continuing education, supplemental academic programming, etc). While some Residential and community-based services are providing youth with tablets and tablets to better connect with community and family supports as well as clinical tools, many are uncertain about how to overcome the cyber security risks. This conference will share the most current approaches to safely provide access to youth, to monitor and manage risk while improving outcomes for youth.

Registration Terms:  NPJS reserves the right to cancel any session, at any time.

 

NPJS or its contractors may photograph or videotape sessions and events at the conference. By attending the conference, attendees understand and agree to allow their images to be used by NPJS in its publications, on its website, and in marketing or promotional materials. Photo images may also be shared with the media. Attendance at the meeting waives NPJS from liability resulting from these uses.

 

NPJS may share your registration information with its sponsors and vendors. By registering for the conference, you agree to allow this information to be shared and understand that you may be contacted by our vendors.

 

Any and all liability of the National Partnership for Juvenile Services (NPJS) with respect to attendance, registration, reservations, cancelations, changes in the location or content of the program, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid. Under no circumstances shall NPJS be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, the cost of transportation or lodging. Conference attendee waives all claims of any kind against NPJS and its respective employees and agents arising from their participation in the conference. The attendee further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NPJS and its respective employees and agents from any and all damages, claims, or other liabilities resulting from any act or omission connected with attendee’s participation in the conference, whether negligent or not. The attendee’s liability shall include all losses, costs, damages, or expenses arising from or out of or by reason of any accident or bodily injury or other occurrences which result from or out of the attendee’s participation in the conference. Attendees agree to adhere to all health and safety requirements mandated by hotel and local/state jurisdictions.

 

Submission of registration and payment constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.


Cancellation Policy:  A processing fee of $50 will be charged for conference registrations canceled on or before March 31, 2024. 

No registration refunds will be made after March 31, 2024.

Transferring Your Ticket:  In lieu of a refund, you can also transfer your registration to someone else. We can transfer tickets up to the day of the conference.

 

If you would like to transfer your ticket, please email abby.schrum@npjs.org with the subject line “Ticket Transfer”. In the email, please include the full name, company name, and email address of the registrant and the full name, company name, and email address of the replacement. We’ll take it from there.

  • Early Departure Fee: All sleeping rooms shall be subject to an Early Departure Fee equal to one night’s room rate, plus applicable fees, taxes and assessments.
  • Reservation / Cancellation Policy:  All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. If a guest does not cancel a reservation within twenty-four hours before 3:00pm of the guest’s check-in date, then Property may charge the credit card one night’s room fee plus any applicable taxes

Exhibitor Raffle:

Each Exhibitor will receive raffle tickets to distribute to attendees when they visit your exhibit booth. The attendees can then deposit their tickets into the box at the registration desk prior to 11:45am on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The door prize drawings will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, during the Closing Remarks. Attendees must be present to win.
