Johnny is the Director for Gulf Coast Trades Center, a Rite of Passage Program. A Sam Houston State University Graduate, he is a lifelong Texas resident, who has spent his career working in the criminal justice field with most of those twenty plus years being dedicated to the Juvenile Services Division. In a career that has included work as a law enforcement officer, marketing agent, admissions director, and program administrator, Johnny has focused his efforts toward making a positive impact on the Juvenile Justice System. Johnny is married to Kristie and they are parents to son, Brett, and daughter, Brooke. Both Johnny and Kristie enjoy time away from work on motorcycle rides or any outdoor activity with family and friends. Johnny has many years of experience in the demands and problems facing Juvenile Justice in the long-term corrections sector, and he is committed to utilizing collaboration and innovation to produce positive changes.
