Keisha graduated from Northern Illinois University with an undergraduate degree in Child Development and a graduate degree in Applied Family & Child Studies. She began her career working in early childhood development then transitioned to social services working directly with youth. Shortly thereafter Keisha began working in the juvenile justice field where she has been employed at one the largest juvenile detention facilities for over 10 years. She is extremely passionate about innovative teaching and has trained on a national level. Keisha has always been a natural leader who aspires to guide youth toward positive change while encouraging professional and personal growth for those who work directly with youth.
